iso2mesh is an open-source software. It is released under the most well-known open-source license, GNU Public License (GPL). That means not only everyone can download and use iso2mesh for any purposes, but also you can modify the code and shared the improved code with others (as long as the derived work is also licensed under GPL license).
We will take advantage of the numerous development tools provided by our ORBIT gforge server to perform the further development of this software. We certainly welcome everyone to be involved and help us to improve the functionalities, report and fix bugs and making a more robust and powerful meshing toolbox from this code. If you happen to make a change to the code to tackle a bug you encountered in your research, we will be appreciated if you can share your changes (as diff outputs) with the developers. We will patch the code as soon as we fully test the changes (certainly with acknowledgement to your contribution in the documentation).
